How is Perseus PCI Vaccine treatment different from other cancer treatments?
Our patented technology works through a personalized vaccine that enables your immune system to fight against the cancer cells and stop them from spreading. Unlike the other treatment methods, the only side effect of the vaccine is a slight fever.
The process of the Perseus PCI Vaccine Treatment
To qualify for the Perseus PCI Vaccine treatment, you must have solid tumors that are accessible through surgery or biopsy and be 18 years or older.
Once you qualify for the treatment, we will acquire tumor tissue from your body. Your physician can do this through biopsy or surgery. We will need two samples — one for your personalized vaccine and the other for back-up. Both samples need to be frozen at -4°F (-20°C).
Regardless of whether you eventually pursue treatment with Perseus, it is still highly recommended that all cancer patients obtain their own samples of their tumors and freeze them in this way. This allows you to immediately start a treatment procedure at a later date without having to undergo the pain, inconvenience and expense of any additional surgical procedures. Properly stored, tumor samples can last for many years. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions about freezing and storing tumor samples.
When you arrive in the Cayman Islands, we will draw 100mLs of blood to be used along with your tumor sample to prepare your personalized vaccine. We will make four vaccines, but only the first will be administered on this trip. The subsequent three shots will be administered at one-month intervals, on three separate trips back to the Cayman Islands.
The Cayman Islands maintain a high standard of health care, which is regulated by the Cayman Islands Health Practice Commission. Visiting doctors are required to be registered in an equivalent health system, like the United States system, and must offer care in conjunction with a doctor registered in the Cayman Islands. At Perseus PCI, we have partnered with highly reputable and acclaimed physicians to ensure that you receive the highest level of care while you are undergoing treatment.
What is included in the cost of the treatment?
The cost of your treatment includes: (1) production of the vaccine, (2) administration of four vaccines, (3) physician care for vaccine administration, (4) laboratory services, and (5) treatment facilities.
